On 15th March we welcomed students from the Training Centre to Garden Hotels’ central offices. More than 50 talented youngsters set for a successful career in the Balearic Islands’ tourist industry had the chance to tour our headquarters in Inca, Majorca, and discover the ins and outs of a company with more than 30 years’ experience in the hospitality sector.
A dynamic presentation gave the youngsters, all final year students of the Degree in Tourism at the University of the Balearic Islands, a first-hand insight into the structure of a chain such as Garden Hotels, its human capital and of course the work carried out at the central offices, including our key functions and goals, all targeted to achieving a single objective: to offer our guests the very best experience – our Garden Experience. In other words, a holiday where guests know that their opinions count, will feel welcome, surprised, delighted and of course special and important at all times.
The students showed a great interest in learning about the world of work, as well as in our corporate philosophy and values, as well as key projects such as the organic food buffet, our commitment to sourcing local produce or the pioneering compost project launched by the Playa Garden Selection Hotel & Spa.
Garden Hotels was delighted and honoured to welcome students from the Training Centre, currently in its third edition and whose aim is to prepare the tourism professionals of the future. They are already part of an unquestionably exciting and dynamic sector in constant evolution and we trust that we will have the chance to keep up-to-date with their growth and development.
