We are often asked if we offer a gastronomic service adapted to coeliacs and other special diets at our hotels. And our answer is always the same: of course! At Garden Hotels we are aware of the difficulties that many travellers find when travelling abroad, and we do not want our guests to find any hindrance to a holiday with all the taste.
For this reason, Garden Hotels and all our establishments have been members of FACE (Spanish Federation of Associations of Coeliacs) for a long time, an organisation which offers us counselling services to improve our gastronomic service and adapt it to all those who suffer from a celiac disease. Along with that, we offer at all our restaurants (including the buffets and the à la carte restaurants) products for a healthy, balance and low saturated fat diet.
The meat, especially after the signature of an agreement with the Majorcan Association of Organic Agricultural Production, is treated with care, especially the lamb we serve at all our hotels in Majorca, with the seal of organic lamb. Fruits, vegetables and pulses have all the guaranties and traceability, and we always give priority to local and seasonal products grown in the famous Majorcan and southern Spanish orchards: olives, almonds, tomatoes, artichokes, aubergines, oranges, melon, watermelon, strawberries and even Majorcan cherries.
And as we know that variety is the spice of life, we have designed different gastronomic areas in the different hotels in Almeria and Majorca. The most valued and famous one is Il Giardino, located in Puerto de Alcudia, near the Alcudia Garden Aparthotel, and Il Giardino Fusion, in Muro beaches, near the Playa Garden Selection Hotel. It is a restaurant of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine full of modern and innovative touches. A cuisine designed for all publics and appealing at any time of the day.
The recipes include mainly simple and natural dishes, without high-calorie sauces and with many crudités that guarantee vegans and vegetarians a wide range of options for their lunches, breakfasts, dinners and snacks.
