Beaches
Alcudia beach is the closest to the aparthotel and also to the town centre and its port. With a seven-kilometre stretch of fine white sand, it’s a favourite among families and boasts a whole host of excellent services. Nearby are other spectacular beaches and coves, such as S’Aucanada, with a family-friendly atmosphere and surrounded by a pine forest overlooking the islet of Alcanada and its lighthouse, one of the most emblematic in Mallorca; the Playas de la Victoria, a series of pocket-sized coves and beaches, of which the best known is S’Illot; and Playa de Coll Baix, one of the few unspoilt beaches that remain in Mallorca and which can only be accessed by hiking through several kilometres of pine groves.
Alcudia
The medieval town of Alcudia cherishes architectural treasures that are well worth a visit, such as its old town, the Roman city of Pol·lèntia, the Roman Theatre and the remains of the wall that once protected the town, the last three of which are known as a National Historic Landmark. Every Tuesday and Sunday you can mooch around Alcudia Market, one of the most important traditional markets in Mallorca, selling everything from local produce to handicrafts and clothing.
The town of lakes
Countless canals stem from lakes back onto the seafront of Port de Alcudia, earning it the nickname of the ‘town of lakes’. The lakes known as Lago Esperanza and Lago Menor provide a unique character to the landscape, in contrast to the modern tourism-focussed infrastructure of the area.
Leisure
The Alcudia Garden Aparthotel is located just one kilometre from Hydropark, one of Mallorca’s top water parks, and two kilometres from Wake Park Mallorca, the largest wakeboarding park in Europe and the only one in Mallorca, where you’ll benefit from special rates only for staying with us. Surrounding our aparthotel in Port de Alcudia are dozens of restaurants, bars and entertainment venues open both day and night.
