The impressive Cloister of Sant Domingo in the Mallorcan town of Pollença is preparing to host the 21st edition of the Fira del Vi Pollença 2024, to be held on 27 and 28 April. This event, organised by Pollença Town Council and the Vi Primitiu association, promises to be an unforgettable experience for lovers of good wine and oenological culture. A total of 38 wineries will be offering an exceptional selection of their best wines. Did you know Mallorca has three denominations of origin? All of them (DO Vi de la terra de Mallorca, DO Pla i Llevant and DO Binissalem) will be present at this event, along with representatives from DO Montsant (Priorat de Catalunya).
Programme of the Fira del Vi de Pollença in 2024
On Friday, 26 April, from 08:00 pm, the marquee outside the Cloister of Sant Domingo will welcome this year’s Pollença Fira del Vi, with the inauguration of the Exhibition “Posters that have illustrated the different editions of the Pollença Fira del Vi”. Entertainment for the evening will include a jazz concert given by MG Waurtet.
During the weekend, the opening times for this wine festival will be as follows:
Saturday, 27 April: from 10:00 am to 08:30 pm. The day will feature tastings with commentaries by some of the wineries participating in this Fira del Vi 2024, where you can enjoy a wide variety of wines from Mallorca and other regions.
Sunday, 28 April: from 10:00 am to 02:30 pm. On the second and last day of the Fair, the commented tastings will continue, so you may carry on exploring and discovering new wines until the very last moments of the fair.
The entrance fee to the Cloister is 15 euros and includes a 5-euro discount when purchasing local wines. The ticket office will shut one hour before closing time.
