Coinciding with the celebration of Black Friday, the Fira de Nadal i Reis 2023 is coming to Palma in anticipation of Christmas in Mallorca. Nearly two hundred craft stalls await you between 23 November and 7 January, with the novelty this year of moving its location from Plaça Espanya and Porta Pintada to Parc de ses Estacions, due to the improvement works being carried out in this area.
Christmas in Mallorca is synonymous with hot chocolate and cuarto or ensaïmada, depending on your preferences, in the emblematic cafeteria Can Joan de s’Aigo. And of course, with light: don’t miss the lighting up of the Christmas decorations in Palma this year 2023, which also takes place on 23rd November, the day before Black Friday, and which will blow your socks off pushing levels of excitement sky high. A stroll through the centre of Ciutat will show you the beauty of Christmas in its purest form: shops with their decorated shop windows, music and lights everywhere, you’ll be embraced by their warmth on cold winter days.

Are you passionate about nativity scenes? We recommend you take the Palma Nativity Route. Visit the Belén de Cort, located in Palma Town Council from 21st November until 6th January, which is set in the most iconic places in the city. The Palau March holds a real treasure with its 18th century Neapolitan nativity scene made up of more than two thousand pieces, among many others that you can’t dare to miss and even use as a source of inspiration.
To bid farewell to the year, the clock d’en Figuera, located on the façade of Palma Town Council, which has been telling the time for 160 years, will offer the spectacle of its chimes on the 31st of December. Nearly 3,000 people gather in the Plaza de Cort to eat their grapes in communion, enjoy the cotillions and give their all at the concerts that warm up this chilly January night, to start the New Year with the best of spirits and hopes.

The eagerly awaited procession travels through the city centre with spectacular artistic creations that invoke dreams and imagination, and some nostalgia, in young and old alike.
