At Garden Hotels we love laughter and good times. It is therefore a pleasure for us to announce a very special partnership that marks our social and charitable engagement with the community of the Balearic Islands. This year, we are once again joining the campaign #HotelesDeNarices24 with the help of the association Sonrisa Médica, a non-profit organisation pioneering the use of laughter as a therapeutic tool in hospitals, which has been carrying out this work since its creation 30 years ago. In addition, 2024 marks 10 years since the FEHM (Hotel Business Federation of Mallorca) joined this special initiative.
With this partnership, we reinforce our support for Sonrisa Médica’s essential work of filling waiting rooms and hospital rooms with hope. Their clowns are much more than entertainers: they provide vital emotional support for patients and their families at the most difficult times, turning fear and sadness into happiness and optimism. That’s why we want to continue to help this organisation train more clowns, increase their visits to hospitals and, most importantly, continue to bring laughter to those who need it most.

On special occasions, our hotels receive a cheerful visit from the team of clowns, allowing us to let our guests know how they can help this worthy cause.
As guests, you have the opportunity to be part of this mission through a charitable initiative: the Woogi Nature activity story, where children are encouraged to take care of the environment through the four elements of nature: fire, air, water and earth, present in the entertainment programme of our Woogi Nature hotels. For each copy sold throughout the year, Garden Hotels makes a donation to Sonrisa Médica. In addition to being a fun and educational tool for children, the book is also a symbol of hope for patients in hospitals.
We also have a drink that is as special as it is charitable: the Nose Cocktail. Not forgetting our cotton candy and smoothies Every time you try these delicious creations, you will be supporting the #HotelesDeNarices24 campaign, as Garden Hotels will donate part of the proceeds to our friends at Sonrisa Médica.
