This annual event commemorating the founding of the town by Jaume II in 1300, is a unique cultural experience that attracts thousands of visitors from all over the island of Mallorca.
During this magical weekend, the streets and squares of Capdepera, crowned by its castle, come alive with the energy and bustle of the Middle Ages. Artists, craftsmen and traders converge in the historic centre to offer a variety of products and activities that will take you back in time.
Crafts and ancestral trades

In the Capdepera Medieval Market 2024 programme you can’t miss the Llata Workshop directed by Yolanda Izquierdo in the Plaça de l’Orient, where you can learn about this art that is deeply rooted in the municipality and admire the Mostra de Llata and the Mostra d’Espart. Furthermore, the Mostra de Cordat de Cadires by Pep Toni Ferrer is an exhibition in which you can learn more about this trade.
