Today we are excited to share some great news with you all. At the recent Horeca Professional Expo, an event where the brightest minds in hospitality meet, Garden Hotels was awarded one of the coveted HIP 2024 awards in the People, Product & Planet category. What does this mean? It means that we won a hospitality industry “Oscar”!
That we were awarded for our innovative proposal “Compra Consciente: Km 0 and organic lamb from Mallorca”. This project is not only an achievement for us, but also a significant step towards a hotel industry approach that is more sustainable and conscious. This is why the award is an additional impetus to further expand our strategy of engagement with the sector, especially in these times when producers need solid agreements to ensure their viability and future development.
At Garden Hotels, it is arguably an understatement to say we have been pioneers in the circular economy since 1986. We are therefore pleased to see how our continued commitment to sustainable practices and our contribution to local community development is valued by the industry.

The project “Compra Consciente: Km 0 and organic lamb from Mallorca” aims to obtain and offer as many local products from Mallorca as possible. So, after contacting local suppliers, we check all the information about the origin of the products to ensure that we are really offering food from the field to the table. We adapt our menus to seasonal products, as we know that those of you who stay at our establishments value the possibility of tasting quality local gastronomy.
This award is an incentive to continue implementing sustainable actions and the circular economy:
