Mr Ramis didn’t just found a hotel chain; he built a dream with deep roots, inspired by his love for his homeland. From his humble beginnings in Inca, when at the age of 13 he left school to help his family, to founding Garden Hotels in 1986, his story is that of someone who never lost sight of his values. Years of effort, dedication and passion for his land led him to become one of the most respected businessmen in the sector.
His vision has been much more than building a chain of hotels; it has been a project based on respect for the environment and the community. Mr Miquel Ramis has always worked under the premise of “supporting those around us first”, a principle that is reflected in every corner of Garden Hotels today, and which continues to be the pillar of the company.
Garden Hotels continues to move towards the future, guided by the principles of sustainability and respect for the environment that Mr Miquel instilled from day one. The award, presented in Alaior, Menorca, not only celebrates the past, but also projects the path that will continue to be followed by a company that was born from a vision and a passion shared by the Ramis family.
