Afterwards, the image of the Virgin is carried in procession through the streets to one of the ships in the port of Vila. The procession of boats sets sail to make a wreath in honour of those who died at sea. This festivity is also celebrated in other municipalities such as Sant Antoni de Portmany, Santa Eulària des Riu, es Cubells and Portinatx, each with its own charm and programme of activities.
