At Garden Hotels, we have a constant commitment to sustainability and to the circular economy. In line with our mission to lead projects in this field, we recently had the pleasure of organizing an exclusive event to present one of our most emblematic initiatives: composting organic waste.
The meeting took place at Finca Sa Teulera, in Petra, Mallorca. This corner of Mallorca is the setting for our innovative composting plant, where the organic waste generated in our hotels is transformed into valuable resources for the primary sector.
The day started with a warm welcome to our distinguished guests, including key partners and institutions in the field of sustainability and the circular economy. The highlight was a visit to the composting plant, where the attendees were able to observe the transformation process of organic waste at close quarters. From collection to composting, each stage was explained in detail, showing how our waste becomes a valuable resource for local agriculture.
Tasting of organic products
To round off the visit, we prepared the perfect final for the occasion: a tasting of organic products grown at Sa Teulera. These very products, the result of composting and other sustainable practices, are what we proudly serve in our hotel restaurants, offering guests an authentic and environmentally friendly dining experience.
